The Pharaohs’ Curse

On my recent trip to the land of pyramids, tombs and horrible tea, I learned about the Pharaohs’ curse - a ghastly curse that consumed anyone who entered a pharaoh’s tomb. King Tut (Tutankamen, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing) was a boy king who died at the age of 16 or something. After Prof. Howard Carter discovered and entered his tomb, all who followed have since disappeared or died suddenly. Thus, the legend of the Pharaohs’ Curse survives.

I on the other hand believe that the Pharaoh’s curse is something else. Since my return from the Egypt, I have noticed some horrible bowel movements … uhh, I don’t think I need to spell it out. It must have been from all the atrocious food I ate in Egypt including Aswan Sponge Cake, Herbiscus Tea and Cheddar cheese. The clue obviously lies in the word "cheddar." Let's see now. Seven letters. Rearranged, they come to, let me see: "Rachedd." "Dechdar." "Drechad." "Chaderd" - hello, chaderd! Unless I'm very much mistaken, chaderd is the Egyptian word meaning "to eat fat." Hence the new legend of the Pharaoh’s Curse
